ARTolerance will celebrate the International Day of Peace with an evening of music, spoken word, visuals, and more from Israeli & Palestinian cultures. We hope to introduce aspirations through cultural expressions and provide bridges towards impactful dialogues. Palestinian & Israeli narratives will be shared, understanding that they express varying perspectives. We would like to encourage conversations across religions and nationalities, leading to impactful dialogues addressing issues of freedom, justice, and peace. Featuring Poet Nathalie Handal, Singer/Songwriter Tammy Scheffer, Singer/Songwriter Fouad Dakwar, Cellist Udi Bar-David, Percussionist and Oud player Zafer Tawil and Pianist Shira Samuels- Shragg. ARTolerance Celebrates International Women’s Day

St. Paul's Lutheran Church 120 N. Easton Rd., Glenside, PA, United States

Sunday, March 8th Join us as we celebrate International Women’s Day with a performance featuring Tammy Scheffer (American/Israeli vocalist), Shinjoo Cho (Bandoneon), Hyun Jin Cha (Korean Drum) and Udi Bar-David (Cello). This celebration will start at 2:30pm at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Glenside and continue with a second performance at Chester County Historical Society at 7:30pm,  a space that was used for a variety of public events, including the first women’s rights convention in Pennsylvania. The second performance will open with an appearance by guest Author/Storyteller Susannah Brody followed by a music-filled program by the ARTolerance ensemble. Catch one or both performances and join us in honoring and celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women.
