ARTolerance will present an event on Sunday, March 31, at 3pm at Main Line Reform Temple to celebrate and support ARTolerance led initiatives in the pursuit of shared society in the USA and in the Middle East. ARTolerance will be featuring the award winning Arab & Jewish ensemble SheshBesh, under the auspices of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, joined by cellist Udi Bar-David. The program will also recognize ARTolerance’s sponsors and upcoming initiatives of exciting and diverse programming in our region. Performance will begin at 3pm and guests are then invited to join a Meet & Mingle reception with the performing artists.

‘SheshBesh” a musical ensemble, was founded by Israel Philharmonic Orchestra in 1999 as one of the first activities of the education department. This excellent ensemble brings together Jewish and Arab muscians in a unique example of tolerant, understanding and communication. They appear regularly in the framework of education, but have also appeared for adult audiences under Music Director, Zubin Mehta.
