Indigenous Soundscapes in Motion

Weber State University Val A. Browning Center, Austad Auditorium 3750 Harrison Blvd, Ogden

This unique performance will feature: Navajo singer and GRAMMY nominee, Radmilla Cody; flutist Hovia Edwards, who is of Shoshone-Navajo-Okanogan heritage and performed for the opening of the Winter Olympics; Menominee and Oneida singer and Native American Music Awards Best Male Artist, Wayne Silas Jr.; and Powwow dancers from the dance company Indigenous Enterprise, who performed for Jennifer Lopez' World of Dance and the virtual presidential inauguration parade. They will be joined by jazz, Latin, and classical percussionist and conductor of the Lion King, Rolando Morales-Matos and one of the world's most versatile cellists and member of the Philadelphia Orchestra, Udi Bar-David.
